We’re in the season of giving, but for ACEing Autism, they succeed in giving back all year round. In this edition of Thankful Thursday, the hard work of ACEing Autism is center stage. With 73 program locations nationwide, ACEing Autism is connecting kids through tennis. 11 years of dedication and thousands of volunteers help to serve over 14,000 kids on the spectrum.
“Tennis has been a love of my life since I was a kid. To say join our clinic, teach your kids some tennis skills, and then they play with their families and their siblings. It really improves the quality of life for the whole family.” Founder Richard Spurling described. Last year a new initiative was launched into school programs, focused on kids with autism living in under served areas.
ACEing Autism brings the community together both on and off the court with star studded events and fundraisers, including their annual gala in Los Angeles that raises money to expand their program and reach more kids.
As Americans sit around their family table for Thanksgiving and reflect on what they’re thankful for, we are thankful for non-profit organizations like ACEing Autism who use tennis to serve cheer and hope to thousands of deserving kids!
